FROM BUCKET HATS TO POLKA DOT CRAVATS: HOW TO DRESS FOR OASIS WITHOUT LOOKING LIKE A TRIBUTE ACT
Gone are the days when you might wear – gasp – clothes you just happen to own and like to a concert. From sparkly Stetsons to sequinned bodysuits, these days it’s all about theme dressing when you to see your favourite artists on tour (and that’s just the dads). As menswear-adjacent bands go, however, they don’t come much more iconic than Mancunian rockers Oasis, and for those who’ve been lucky enough to snaffle tickets to their tour you’ll want to make sure your look is up to snuff. Maybe you were there first time and your Kangol bucket hats and Fred Perry polos are all in pristine condition in your wardrobe (if, perhaps, a little tight); maybe you’re newer to the Oasis phenomenon but want an outfit that pays respect to Liam and Noel’s original Britpop swagger. Bucket hat
Drivers were recently warned about driving to gig venues in bucket hats, but as long as you don’t wear yours too low you should just about be road-worthy (you could also just… Take it off.) This Loewe hat is tastefully discrete, with a jazzy checked lining for when “Champagne Supernova” kicks in.
Sunglasses

Shirt
With the preppy revival in full swing you won’t find it hard to track down a polo shirt right now, and given that there are so many great options available you might choose to have a little bit of fun. How about stripes? Celine Homme says yes, and we do too.
Jeans
If skinny jeans really are making a comeback, it won’t be to wherever the Oasis wagons are rolling into town. Liam and Noel liked their jeans baggy without being skater-ridiculous, so these wide-legged Bottega Veneta options would do nicely.
Coat
You could go classic Stone Island of course, but if you want a parka that has a slightly more minimalist silhouette, and is also light enough to tie around your waist when the pints start flying, then this number from Officine Generale is just the ticket.
Trainers
If you’re truly diehard you might already own a pair of Liam’s own Adidas LG2 SPZLs, but if you want to keep it simple and versatile – and in keeping with the current flat sneaker trend – then you can’t go wrong with some ever-popular Sambas (no crazy colourways now, mind).
Scarf
OK we promised you a polka dot cravat, and though we wouldn’t ordinarily condone excessive neckwear this is, without doubt, a special occasion. If you don’t want to go full Knock-off Liam though, try a different print, like this fetching Paisley one from Valentino.
